Applied Behavioral Sciences’ Impaired Driver Counseling Program/ Drunk Driving Counseling Program is a New York State DMV and New Jersey State DMV (IDRC) Intoxication Resource Center approved drunk driving treatment program. This program was created in response to a need to develop community initiatives aimed at altering the current behaviors of drunk driving offenders. The goal of the program is the reduction of fatalities and injuries from motor vehicle crashes involving alcohol-impaired teens and adults and includes the following objectives:

The Impaired Driver Counseling Program/ Drunk Driving Counseling Program alcohol and substance abuse assessments, evaluations, and counseling are OASAS (New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services), NYS DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles), New Jersey State DMV, IDRC (Intoxication Resource Center), NYPD, New York City Police Department Legal Services, and Criminal and Family Court Approved Programs.
NYS residing clients can be evaluated and treated to acquire the NYS DMV DS-449 form.
